Randy Brown

RB Productions presents the debut album of Fort Worth singer/songwriter/ musician Randy Brown.  This album is a compilation of original music and outstanding interpretations of some of the most influential artists in country music such as George Jones, Merle Haggard and Bob Wills.  Randy's music and self-titled debut album, "Randy Brown - Never Heard of Him", offers everything from traditional country to western swing all inspired by his Texas roots.

Randy grew up in the heart of Cowtown - Fort Worth, Texas, USA.  This part of Texas provided him with a steady dose of hardcore honky-tonk and western swing.  His youth was filled with rodeo dances, chuck wagon campfires, and big dance hall nights.  Randy's earliest memories are of cowboy suits, twin fiddles, and crying steel guitars setting the stage for a honky-tonk Saturday night in Fort Worth.  Every Saturday night after a heavy dose of Hee-Haw, the Brown's would hit the dance halls with little Randy in tow.  While Merle Haggard and George Jones were on TV, Johnny Bush, Darrell McCall, Jerry Max Lane, and Gary Stewart were filling the Texas beer joints with true Texas music.

With meaningful direction, a new found focus and a newly released CD, Randy has already made a huge impact on the hearts of music lovers not only in Texas but worldwide.  His music reflects the versatility of his songwriting, diverse vocal range and his enthusiasm for true country music; all of which are ingredients which make him extremely appealing to a wide variety of listeners.  Whether Randy is performing an acoustic show or backed up by a full band, his dynamic personality and extraordinary stage presence makes him a delight to watch.  Anyone who sees Randy perform in person or listens to his music can immediately appreciate his passion for real country music.

An accomplished musician and songwriter, Randy's talents have been showcased on radio and songwriting forums throughout the great state of Texas.  Randy has performed for the last 15 years at venues from cowboy campfires, chuck wagons, local beer taverns, and historic dancehalls and has played with and for incredible artists such as Johnny Bush, David Ball, Justin Trevino, Jake Hooker, Tommy Alverson, Billy Mata, Jerry Max Lane, Cooder Graw, Mike Blakely, Terry Rasor, Buck Reams, The Insiders, Dale Watson and Ed Burleson.

Randy is supported on this album by incredible musicians such as Grammy award winner Chris Booher, Texas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame member Gary Carpenter, and studio greats Derek Spigener and Reggie Rueffer who are also a part of Charlie Prides band.  The albums producer, Ronny Dale Shultz, who contributed both his instrumental and vocal talent to the project, is one of the most respected musicians in Texas.
